Men's Track and Field to Compete in Texas Relays

JACKSON, Miss.- The Jackson State men’s track and field team will travel to Austin Texas to participate in the 87th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays hosted by the University of Texas on Wednesday, March 26 through Saturday, March 29.

Currently, there are 232 collegiate teams and 6,552 athletes schedule to compete in the meet.

The Tigers’ performed well at the TSU Relays last weekend with the Tiger relay team consisting of Jeremy Wilson, Jamie McIntosh, Dana Roberts and Tamarick Johnson finishing third, Dana Roberts finishing sixth in the 400m, Tamarick Johnson finishing sixth place in the 200m, and D’Ante Almo finishing fifth in the 5000m.

The first event in the competition will be the Women’s Heptathlon and the Men’s Decathlon scheduled for 10:30a.m. Wednesday at Mike A. Myers Stadium.
