JACKSON, Miss. – The Jackson State football team held its second of 15 spring practices Wednesday morning at the campus’ alternate practice field. For the second consecutive day workouts started promptly at 6 am and lasted for approximately an hour and a half.
With the morning temperature around 45 degrees, the second day of practice saw more action.
“The moral of the team was a little bit better today,” said head coach Harold Jackson. “With the players being off for the last couple weeks (coming off spring break) they were a little sluggish yesterday. But today the guys kind of got into it and pushed each other, so each day is going to be better.”
Following an off day on Thursday, the Tigers will practice two more times this week on Friday and Saturday. Jackson State’s Blue and White Game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at the JSU practice field as the highlight of Tiger Fest.
