JACKSON, Miss. — The Southwestern Athletic Conference named Jackson State University's Ayanna Hardy-Fuller to the All-Conference first team Tuesday, March 11, 2014, before opening tournament play in Houston, Texas, at the Toyota Center.

Hardy-Fuller, a Chicago native, led the Lady Tigers in scoring, rebounding and blocked shots. The junior forward recorded five double-doubles on the season while averaging 11.4 points per game, seven boards per game and 0.8 blocks per game. She was ranked third in the league in field-goal percentage (.516) and fourth in the league in offensive rebounds, averaging 2.9 per game.

She also spearheaded JSU to a 14-14 overall record and a 12-6 conference record.

The Lady Tigers will host Mississippi Valley State University during the first round of the 2014 Toyota SWAC Women's Basketball Tournament in Houston, Texas, at the Toyota Center Tuesday, March 11, through Saturday, March 16. TIp is set for 10 a.m.
