The Jackson State University Men's tennis team fell 5-0 to the University of Louisiana-Lafayette Saturday evening in Lafayette, La.

ULL swept through the doubles and continued their momentum into singles. ULL clinched the match with wins over Kashyap Ashok, Ryan Swanier and Hernan Geria.  "Coach Mark Jeffrey of ULL has a strong team and they were too much for us today. They are a very strong team and will have a great match with No. 7 Baylor later this week.  Kashyap said he played his best match which is great, but had high praises for his opponent.  Carlos Martinez and Jose Luque were battling to tiebreaks in their first sets on another high note before we called the match due to rain."
