The Jackson State Tigers look to bounce back after suffering a tough loss to in-state rival Mississippi Valley State on a game-winning, desperation three-pointer as time ran off the game clock Saturday evening. The loss snapped JSU’s two game winning streak in conference play. UAPB is coming off a 66-64 victory over Grambling State. The Lions snapped a five game losing streak with the win over GSU.

-The Jackson State men’s basketball team travels Pine Bluff, Ark. looking to bounce back from a tough buzzer beating loss to in-state rival Mississippi Valley State at the LeFlore County Civic Center.

-Julysses Nobles leads the team in scoring (15 ppg), BJ West leads the team in rebounding and blocked shots (10 rpg and 2 bpg). West is the only player in the SWAC to average a double-double this season.

-JSU averages 64.8 ppg and allows 69.7.
