Lady Tigers Set to Face LSU

The Jackson State University Women's basketball team is set to face Louisiana State University (LSU) at Maravich Center in Baton Rouge, La. on Monday, December 30 at 7 p.m.

The Lady Tigers (2-7 overall) are coming an 83-48 loss to Western Kentucky University and are looking to capture a victory over LSU before opening conference action January 4 against Alabama A&M University in Jackson.

The Tigers (9-2 overall) are coming off an 89-79 loss to North Carolina State University on Dec. 20.

JSU is led by the play of junior forward Ayanna Hardy-Fuller. The Chicago, Ill. native averages 11.4 points per game, including 6.1 rebounds per contest.

LSU has been spearheaded by Raigyne Moncrief. The freshman guard averages 13.4 points per game; while adding 2.7 assists per contest.
