MEMPHIS, Tenn.- The Jackson State University Women's basketball team completed its four-game road skid, dropping 77-64 decision to the University of Memphis Monday evening at Elma Roane Fieldhouse.

Led by junior guard Alisa Ross, who accounted for 19 of the Lady Tigers points and senior guard Ekwara Ndongo, who dropped eleven, Jackson State opened the game on a roll in the first half, hitting 54 percent from the field on 14 of 26 shooting.

JSU struggled in the second half shooting only 32 percent from the field and 42 percent for the game.

Ariel Hearn led Memphis with 26 in the victory; while grabbing seven boards.

The Lady Tigers look to host Houston Baptist University Friday at the Lee E. Williams Athletic and Assembly Center in Jackson, Miss. at 7 p.m.
