JACKSON- The Jackson State University Lady Tigers' bowling team placed ninth in the Alabama State Hornets Invitational on Sunday, Nov 19th.
The Lady Tigers competed against 11 schools with a total of 69 bowlers. JSU, 3-8 in the invitational, played a total of eight games, five baker games and three traditional. In the baker games, the Lady Tigers averaged 177 points and in the traditional games they averaged 163.
The lead bowler for the Lady Tigers was Dyanna Scott, senior from Flint, Mich., with an average of 181 points.
The Lady Tigers' next competition will be on Friday, Jan 17 when they travel to Baton Rouge, La. to compete in the SWAC West Roundup.
