WASHINGTON - The Jackson State women’s basketball team fell 101-73 to George Washington Saturday at the Charles E, Smith Center) in its season opener.

Three Lady Tigers scored in double digits. Ayanna Hardy-Fuller and Dominique Brothern each scored 12 points and Ke’ra St. John had 11 and six rebounds. Hardy-Fuller went 4-7 from the field and 4-6 from the free throw line. Brothern went 3-8 from the field and was a perfect 4-4 from the line. 

Megan Nipe led George Washington t with 20. The Lady Tigers trailed 37-52 at halftime and was outscored 49-36 in the second half.

The Lady Tigers return to action Monday, Nov. 11 to take on Howard in Washington, DC at 7 pm.
