Soccer to Travel to Arkansas-Pine Bluff

JACKSON- The Jackson State University Lady Tiger’s soccer team will travel to the University of Arkansas Pine-Bluff to take on the Lady Lions on Sunday, Nov. 3.

The Lady Lions are led by Traebiyana Bimanche a sophomore forward from Dallas Texas. Bimanche has played in 13 out of 19 games and has started in 11. She has scored 6 of the 19 goals made for the Lady Lions this season with a total of 12 points.

The Lady Tigers are led by Elexis Rice a freshman defender who has taken the role of forward in the later part of the season. She has 5 goals and has been named SWAC Defensive Player of the Week twice. Other leaders for the Lady Tigers are Jalana Ellis and Rayana Speight both with 4 goals each this season.

The last time these two teams met, the Lady Tigers were able to subdue the Lady Lions in a 1-0 victory.

The game will take place on the campus of UAPB at Pumphrey Stadium. Its set to start at 1 p.m.
