JACKSON - The Jackson State University Division of Athletics will help kick the 2013 homecoming activities by holding its second annual JSU Basketball Madness on Sunday, Oct. 13 at the Lee E. Williams Athletics and Assembly Center (AAC) on the JSU main campus. The doors open at 7 pm and the event starts at 8 pm.

The night will offer JSU fans a first look at the men’s and women’s basketball teams. In addition, the event (which is free to the public) will include fun, games, a slam dunk contest, a three-point shootout, an alumni game and will conclude with a fireworks show that will take place behind the AAC.

JSU will hold its second Basketball Madness as a way to show appreciation for fans and students, as admission is free to the public and all concessions will be sold for $1. The event also helps the JSU basketball programs generate early excitement for the upcoming season.
