STATESBORO, Ga. - The Jackson State University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (13-25, 15-25, 15-25) decision to the University of Central Michigan Friday morning during the Georgia Southern Invitational.

The Tigers (1-12) struggled in the first set, dropping it 13-25 against the explosive attack of the Chippewas. Sophomore middle blocker Mikayla Rolle led the attack for JSU scoring eight kills; while sophomore Jenna Siddiqui added eight assists.

Defensively, the ladies registered a total of 23 digs and six block assists throughout the match.

Jackson State will face host team Georgia Southern Saturday at noon during day two of the Georgia Southern Invitational.
