JACKSON- The Lady Tigers’ soccer team of Jackson State University fall to University of South Alabama 0-5 in their first game at the Troy Invitational.

At 14:35 in the first period of the game, Tatum Perry of South Alabama scored the first goal of the game. Perry scored her second goal and the second goal of the game early in the second period.  The next two goals were scored by Lauren Allison who was assisted on her second goal by Alli Cochran. The last goal of the game was scored in the last ten minutes by Maha Maarouf.

Lady Tigers’ stand outs were Elexis Rice who shot one shot on goal, Quiona McAdam-Mitchell who shot one shot on goal, and Eroncia Berry who shot once. Kylie Christian made 5 saves as the goalie.

The Lady Tigers will play next game against Troy on Sunday at 3:00 pm in Troy, Alabama.
