NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Jackson State women’s tennis team lost its final match of the regular season, falling 6-1 to the New Orleans Privateers Thursday at the University Tennis Center.

Harshini Reddy picked up JSU’s lone win of the match, beating UNO’s Kristina Martic 6-4, 6-1. Angela Condorelli also played a tough match, falling 7-5, 1-6, 6-10 to Paula Jimenez.

The Lady Tigers are 5-2 in conference play. JSU will participate in the 2013 SWAC Tournament in New Orleans  April 19-21. The Lady Tigers enter the tournament as the No. 3 seed and will face No. 5 Alabama A&M.
