Lawrence, KS--Jackson State fell in mid-week action to non-conference opponent, Kansas 11-0.
The Jayhawks rattled off runs in the first, third and fifth innings to hand Jackson State their eighth loss of the season. Aneko Knowles, Gary Thomas, Gabriel Babineaux, and Stephen Curtis accounted for the four hits for the Tigers.
Tanner Poppe picked up the win for the Jayhawks while Vincent Anthonia recorded the loss for the Tigers.
Jackson State will travel to Montgomery, Alabama to face Division rival, Alabama State in a weekend series.
