JACKSON, Miss. - The Jackson State women's tennis team fell to a 6-5 record after falling 7-0 to the Nicholls State Colonels at the JSU Tennis Complex Wednesday evening.

The bright spot of the match for JSU came in singles play when Kesica Jayapalan took the first from Rachel Howie 6-0.

Jackson State returns to action Friday, Mar. 1 to take on SEMO and West Alabama at the JSU Tennis Complex. Match play is set for a 9:30 a.m. start time.

1.     Harshini Reddy/Kesica Jayalapan(JSU) lost to Brock/Aubert(NSU) 8-4

2.     Rebekah Adewumi/Laura Rojas(JSU) lost to Howie/Costigliomi(NSU) 8-3
