JACKSON, Miss. - As of Tuesday, Feb. 26,
Jackson State men's track and field standout Anaso Jobodwana is ranked
No. 2 in the nation in the 200 meter dash with a time of 20.65 (UAB
Blazer Indoor Invitational). Jobodwana recently made it even tougher
for his name to be erased from the Southwestern Athletic Conference record books in the 200 m. He
smashed his own record in the event, taking first place with a time of
20.75.
Jobodwana is also internationally ranked No. 2 in the 200 m, according to the International Association of Athletics Federations.
BJ Lee has posted the third fastest time in the 60 meter dash by a football player with his time of 6.65 during the Clemson Tiger Paw. During the 2013 SWAC Indoor Championships, Lee broke his own record in the 60 meter dash when he finished with a time of 6.66.654 to win the event.
