The Jackson State baseball team returns to action Feb. 22-24 for a weekend series with the Central Arkansas Bears in Conway, Arkansas.

The Tigers go into the weekend series with a 2-2 record. Jackson State opened the season by hosting its JSU Tournament at Braddy field. The Tigers won its first game of the season by defeating Texas Southern 4-0. JSU fell 14-5 to Texas Southern in the second game. JSU then fell 4-3 to Eastern Illinois before bouncing back to beat Eastern Illinois 8-2.

Central Arkansas comes into the weekend series with a 3-1 record. The Bears swept Murray state in a three-game series before falling 10-2 to Vanderbelt.

JSU and Central Arkansas will square off on Friday at 6 pm and then again Sunday at 1 pm.
