Tigers open Frito Lay-Taco Bell in ninth place

PHILADELPHIA, MS - The Jackson State men's golf team opened the 2013 season with its annual Frito Lay-Taco Bell Intercollegiate at Dancing Rabbit Golf Course.

JSU finished the day tied for ninth place, with a score of 329. Kevin Coakley tied for 15th place as he fired a 76. Kyle Bodenstein and DJ Hall each shot a 79 to tie for 30th place. Josh McCormick tied for 39th place as he shot an 82. James Reed finished 56th and Ian Lovett finished tied for 58th place.

UT Martin finished ended the opening round in first place with a 284 and New Orleans is second with a 303.

The final round of the Frito Lay-Taco Bell takes place Monday, Feb. 18 at 9:30 am at Dancing Rabbit.
