BIRMINGHAM, AL - The Jackson State women's golf team opened the 2013 season at the Ann Rhoads Invitational - which is being hosted by Birmingham Southern.

JSU finished the first round of action in seventh place, posting a team score of 361. Stevie Booker finished the first day tied for 15^th place - shooting an 82. Stephanie Robertson finished 28^th with an 87 and Barbara Wilson shot 93 which landed her tied for 34^th place. Amanda White finished tied for 42^nd place and Erica Payton had to withdraw from the opening round of play.

Indiana State leads the opening round with a score of 311 and Harding University is second and Methodist came in third place.

The Ann Rhoads Invitational will end Monday, Feb. 18.
