Lady Tigers falter against Central Arkansas, 7-3

Nashville, TN-After a scoreless first inning from both teams, Jackson State jumped on the scoreboard with a RBI single from Arial Siegel as Tahlisa Blosser scored.  Taylor Nave's two RBI double scored teammates Arial Siegel and Felicia Wilson in the second inning as well.

Central Arkansas answered back scoring three rooms of their own in the top of the third inning. 

With both teams deadlocked at three runs a piece, the Bears cracked open the sixth inning scoring four runs off one hit and two errors from Jackson State.

The Lady Tigers bats did not produce any additional runs to contest Central Arkansas.  Breea Jamerson picked up the loss for Jackson State as Barclay recorded the win for the Bears.

Jackson State will return to action on tomorrow, Sunday, February 10th against Western Illinois.  First pitch is set for 11:15 AM as the Lady Tigers participate in their final contest in the Belmont Spring Kickoff Tournament.
