The Jackson State men's tennis team (0-3) played No.9 nationally ranked William Carey in Hattiesburg, MS. The Crusaders swept the Tigers 9-0. Jose Luque was serving for the match leading All-American and No. 6 ranked Jody Claussen, but lost in a match tiebreak 11-9 for the final set. Hernan Reines had a good match against All-American No. 22 ranked Ricky Keppeler.
Jackson State returns to action Sunday, Jan. 27 to take on Southern Miss in Hattiesburg at 2 pm.
