JACKSON, Miss. - The Jackson State women's basketball team fell 72-59 to the Southern Lady Jaguars in Southwestern Athletic Conference action Tuesday night at the Lee E. Williams Athletics and Assembly Center.
Dominique Brothern scored a team high 12 point and dished out a game high three assists. Ayanna Hardy-Fuller followed with a nine point, nine rebound effort. Beatrice Banks also added nine points, going 3-8 from three-point range.
Lechell Rush scored a game-high 19 points for Southern. She also pulled down 10 rebounds. Adrian Sanders followed with 13 points.
JSU trailed 27-20 at halftime. The Lady Tigers will return to action January 12 to take on Texas Southern in Houston, TX.
