Tulsa, OK- The Jackson State men's basketball fell 86-66 to the Tulsa Golden Hurricane Tuesday night. With the loss JSU falls to a 0-2 record. Tulsa improves to 4-1.
Sophomore Kelsey Howard led JSU with a 25 point and nine rebound effort. He connected on 8 of his 15 shot attempts, including going 5-8 from three-point range. Senior Christian Williams came off the bench and followed with 23 points on 9-16 shooting from the field. Willie Readus chipped in nine points and three rebounds.
Tulsa's James Woodard led all scorers with 27 points and 11 rebounds on 10-18 shooting.
JSU trailed 35-30 at halftime. JSU returns to action Nov. 26 when the Tigers travel to Lubbock, Texas to take on Texas Tech.
