JACKSON – The Jackson State University Cross Country team placed second at the University of Louisiana-Monroe Warhawk Invitational on Friday, Sept. 6.

 The Tigers leaders were Samuel Rhoads who finished in 29.21, D’Ante Almo 31.06, and James Curtis 31.18. Tigers were able to finish a head of their conference foe Grambling State University who finished third.

 Other times for the Tigers are Jacquest Williams at 31.37, Rahim Aponte at 32.17, Markus Jackson at 334.43, Ibrahim Hinds at 35.02, and Alex Crawford at 35.39.

 The next time the Men’s Cross Country will compete is Sat, Sept. 14 when they host the Martin Epps Invitational. It will take place at Choctaw Trails in Clinton, Miss. At 8:30 am.
