JACKSON, Miss. - The blue team beat the white team 17-6 for the JSU Tigers annual blue and white spring football game. Highlights from the game included a 92 yard touchdown run by Alexander Montgomery, towards the end of the first quarter. The run was the longest play of the day. Montgomery finished with 111 rush yes and a TD.


On the ensuing kick off Tobias Singleton returned it 90 yards for a TD. The extra point gave the blue team a 7-6 advantage. Midway through the second quarter Armon Carter made back-to-back big plays. He sacked the white team QB and then picked off a pass.
At the 2:13 mark in the second quarter Tim Rush scored on a two yard run. The point after increased the blue team's lead to 14-6.
Ryan Deising made a 41 yd field goal to conclude the scoring. 
Other highlights include Ryan Griffin returns of 48 yd (punt ret) and 49 (kick off). Antonio Sutton also had a 42 yd punt return.
